Create professional quote templates with consistent pricing and descriptions to speed up your quoting process and win more work.
Go to Settings → Quotes → Templates or click "Templates" from the quotes page.
Click "Add Template" and choose a descriptive name like "Boiler Installation" or "Bathroom Renovation".
Include standard elements:
Preview the template with sample data, make adjustments, then save for future use.
Variables allow you to customize templates for specific customers and jobs without rewriting everything.
Type variable names in curly braces like {customer_name} in your template. When creating a quote, these become fillable fields.
Template: "Install new {boiler_type} boiler for {customer_name} at {property_address}"
Becomes: "Install new Worcester Bosch 28kW boiler for John Smith at 123 Oak Street"

Go to Quotes → New Quote, then click "Use Template" instead of starting from scratch.
Browse your saved templates and select the one closest to the job you're quoting.
Complete the variable fields with customer-specific information (name, address, specifications, etc.).
Add, remove, or modify line items for the specific job. Adjust pricing if needed.
Preview the final quote, check all details, then send to customer via email or PDF.
