Common Issues & Quick Fixes
Quick solutions for the most common problems.
Most issues have simple fixes. Try these solutions first, then contact support if you're still stuck.
Can't log in
If you can't access your account, try these solutions in order:
- Click "Forgot Password" and check your email (including spam folder)
- Clear your browser cache and cookies for toolfy.io
- Try logging in from an incognito/private browser window
- Check if your email needs verification (check inbox for verification link)
- Email support@toolfy.io with your account email if still stuck
Payment problems
If payments aren't working for you or your customers:
- Ask customer to try a different credit card
- Check the card has sufficient funds and international payments enabled
- Verify customer is entering correct billing address
- Try payment in incognito mode to avoid browser interference
- Check Settings → Payments to ensure Stripe is properly connected
- For urgent payment issues, contact support immediately
Data not syncing
If changes aren't appearing on other devices:
- Check internet connection on all devices
- Refresh the page or restart the app
- Log out and log back in to force a sync
- Wait 30 seconds - syncing can take time on slow connections
- On mobile, check if the app is stuck in offline mode
Mobile app issues
If Toolfy isn't working properly on your phone:
- Force close and reopen the app
- Check you have internet connection
- Update your browser (Safari for iPhone, Chrome for Android)
- Reinstall the app by removing and re-adding to home screen
- Try using Toolfy in your regular browser instead
Page loading slowly
If Toolfy feels slow or pages won't load:
- Check your internet connection speed
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Close other browser tabs and applications
- Try using a different browser
- Restart your device if problems persist
Quick browser fixes
Clear cache (Chrome)
Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete → Clear data
Clear cache (Safari)
Develop menu → Empty Caches (or cmd+option+E)
Incognito mode
Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N, Safari: cmd+shift+N
Hard refresh
Hold Ctrl+Shift and click reload button
