Instant payout cost calculator for field service
Stripe charges 0.5% (min £0.50) for instant payouts. Use this quick calculator to see if the fee beats your financing cost.
Instant payout fee = Amount × 0.5%
Daily cost of cash = Overdraft APR ÷ 365 × Amount
Break-even days = Fee ÷ Daily cost
Example: £8,000 payout, 0.5% fee = £40. Overdraft APR 12% ⇒ daily cost £2.63. Break-even ~15 days. If getting cash early avoids >15 days of interest, pay the fee.
